Cassidy Bayer tore time off two of her team records on Saturday, lowering her 13-14 backstroke record set at Time Trials this year from 30.94 to 30.35.
Then, in her first A meet breaststroke swim ever, Cassidy lowered her Time Trials record from 37.16 to a ridiculously fast 35.46. Given that Wakefield Chapel's fastest 13-14 swimmer is a breaststroker, Cassidy unselfishly swam the event to get the Gators the win and five points. Kudos to Coach Paul for putting her in that event -- by splitting up Jessie Bricker and Cassidy, MVP won all four 13-14 girls events.
After yesterday's team record swims, Cassidy is listed on the NVSL website as having the fastest free, back, breaststroke, and fly 13-14 times in the league this season.
