The annual Green and White meet on Monday lived up to all of the hype. After a year of planning and preparing, the Gator versus Gator internal meet went down for real... and ended in a tie.

This meet is not scored is the same way as most other meets. Instead, this one is structured to incentivize improvements (not that the kids aren't always trying to improve, but a little extra team peer pressure to do it can't hurt!). Each swimmer earns a point for lowering their time in their events. And when the final results were tallied, the score was even... or so I've been told. I actually tried to tally up all the results on the meet sheet, but it started to overheat my brain. (When is this weather going to cool off anyway?)
