Gators Strut Their Stuff At Ft. Hunt Sportsmen's Relays

The Mt. Vernon Park Gators put on a show at the Ft. Hunt Sportsmen’s Relay on Wednesday, June 29^th at Riverside Gardens. Although the meet is not scored, Gator observers follow the meet closely, and are thrilled with the three first places, three second places, two thirds and five fourth places out of the thirteen races. With ten pools represented, for the Gators to finish no lower than fourth is an impressive effort highlighting the team’s depth.

The three first place relays were:

• The 7-18 girls 200 meter free team of Kaila Stein, Olivia Johansson, Mollie Passacantando, and Jessica Metter;
• The mixed gender 8 & under 100 meter modified medley team of Chris Kelly (back), Gabrielle Greszler (breaststroke), TJ Heck (free), and Paige Humphreys (free); and,
• The mixed gender 18 & under 100 meter medley team of Kevin Adams-Mardi, Cyrus Adams-Mardi, Emily Atkinson, and Parker Fulghum.

The three second place relays were:

• The 8 & under boys 100 meter free relay of Aidan Fischer, Joseph Humphreys, Ray Galford, and Charlie Ruppe;
• The mixed gender 9-12 100 meter back relay of Jordan Hilko, Taylor Makin, Bobby Kelly, and Maddie Finn; and,
• The mixed gender 9-12 100 meter fly relay of Noah Hannam, Abigail Dittman, Nicky McBroom, and Julia Hunger.

And, the two third place relays were:

• The girls 8 & under 100 meter free relay of Halle Reinholtz, Mia Colaizzi, Emily Makin, and Grace McGree; and,
• The mixed gender 5-18 250 meter crescendo relay of Zoe Greszler, Audrey Dittman, Carl Questad, and Cyrus Adams-Mardi.
