Green Wins! White a Close Second!

Kermit might believe “it’s not easy being green”.  But that wasn’t the case for the Green half of the Gators this past Tuesday at the annual Green/White meet. The Green team won the close meet.

Just before calling his bookie, Coach
Paul decides to bet on Green.
(just kidding, parents, investigations have
proven there was no wagering
on the Green & White Meet)

Swimmers hitting the pool for the first time this season were Quinn O’Connell, Calvin Sullivan,  Greg Sullivan, Alexandra Kreiger, Lily Palmerino, Elizabeth Moorman, and Gabby Cullo.

H2O -- Two parts heart, one part obsession

Dropping around 5 seconds or more from their previous times were: Elijah Hope,  Matt Barrett, William Mochel, Liam O’Brien, Max Ciovacco, Willa Madar, Meghan McCloud, Lilly Burling, Nicole Booth,  Warren Herrington, Lucas Garvey, Elijah Hope,  Marie Popowitz, Jordan Hilko, Emily Walzl, Tristan Colaizzi, and Erika Larsen.

The rivalry is so intense, the White team swimmers and
Green team swimmers wouldn't talk to each other.

Among the heat winners were Parker and Olivia Blondin, Mike Oelschlager, Charles Ruppe, James Piland, Zach Meadows, Quinn O’Connell, Annie  and Natalie Terwilliger, Mary Claire O’Brien, Bella van Damme, Tyler Dunn, Brian McNamara, Claudia and Cage Theriot, Olivia and Liam Johansson, Lauren and George Pacious, Sam McBroom, Maddie Finn,  Chris Kelly, Layne O’Connell, Kathryn Cunningham,  Taylor Makin,  Dom Heratsch, Jessie Bricker, Sarah Atkinson, Juliana Skopp-Cardillo, Glen Campagna, Sheridan Phalen, Halen Anderson, Gaby and Zoe Greszler,  and 4 year old Greg Sullivan.

really fast swims.
