Swimmers of the Week - Ginny Grubbs and Nick Dupuis

When you win an A meet you certainly have more great swim performances to consider when selecting swimmers of the week.  This week honors go to Ginny Grubbs (8) and Nick Dupuis (14). 

Ginny Grubbs had two great wins - 8&under free and fly.  Event 2 was a close one, with Ginny taking that race with a time of 20.79, .21 seconds ahead of her Thunderbolt opponent.  In fly, she also had a close race with a first place finish of 22.90, .25 seconds ahead of her 2nd place opponent.  These were races of the week (see A meet blog) and this is the 3rd time this season that Ginny received these honors in an A meet.  Ginny also swam in the 8&under free relay, with the Gators coming in 2nd with a time of 1:30.67.

Nick Dupuis had a strong performance for the Gators on Saturday, capturing 10 points in two individual wins and helping add 5 points as a member of the winning 13-14 100 meter medley relay team.  Nick's first win came in the 13-14 free, posting a time of 27.69.  His next win was in the 13-14 breaststroke, finishing with a time of 36.78.  Nick swam the last leg of the medley (free) to help the 13-14 boys win with a time of 1:00.36.
