- Sean Jansen broke the 13-14 boys breaststroke record with a time of 35.43, breaking Steven Berry's mark of 35.85 set in 2003.
- Sean goes old school with his cap, breaks record.
- Cassidy Bayer knocked time off her 15-18 girls breaststroke record, swimming it in 34.59, which is a good improvement of her previous record of 34.85 set on 6/15/15.
The pain etched on Cassidy's face suggests
she could use some Bayer aspirin.
- Cassidy wasn't done breaking her own record in the 15-18 girls with a time of 28.06, knocking 0.37 seconds off her previous team mark of 28.43 set on 6/27/15.
Another swim, another, you know, Cassidy record.
- In the meet clinching win, the 15-18 boys 200 medley relay team of Gus Leyden, Kevin Adams-Mardi, Cameron Morey, and Tristan Colaizzi swam 1:58.96 taking more than a second of their previous team record of 2.00:01 on 6/20/15.
The boys were confident. And rightfully so.
(l to r: Cameron, Tristan, Kevin, and Gus)
Congratulations, Gator record holders!
