Swimmers of the Week: Four of Them After Week Five

It was too hard to pick just two Gator Swimmers of the Week for the final week of the 2015 Summer Swim Season.  So, rather than make the tough decision, for the first time ever, the blog has four swimmers of the week: Matthew Makin, TJ Heck, Cassidy Bayer, and Gabrielle Greszler.

Matthew got the meet off to a great start by winning the 8 & under boys 25 free by just 0.33 over his Vienna Woods competitor.  Matthew added a dominating win in the backstroke to complete his double victory day.

TJ earned the honors by notching his first ever A meet victory in the 11-12 boys fly.  TJ's win is a testament to perseverance -- when he was younger he made the occasional A meet, but started last year to consistently make it.  And now, he's winning races!

And the dad goes wild!

Cassidy Bayer broke two of her own team records on Saturday, and crept ever closer to Janet Hu's amazing NVSL fly record.  Not shockingly, both of Cassidy's races were wins.

Is it the power or the perfect form?
You are right -- it's both.

Gabrielle Greszler was also a double winner, leading decisive Gator sweeps in both 11-12 girls free and fly.

Gabby is already a Greszled Gator girl veteran.

Congratulations to all Gator Swimmers of the Week this season.  It seems harder and harder to pick them each year!
